SUMMARY:Using Technology in Information Literacy Programs (2 Day Live Online - PLAN)
DESCRIPTION:This four-hour class, which will be offered online in two-hour increments for two successive days, will explore ways to integrate technology into information literacy programs and teaching. Technology is a key tool in today's information literacy programs. A wide range of software tools, including Jing, Camtasia, and Captivate- make designing interactive content easier. Social tools, including blogs, wikis, and Facebook - can be essential for content creation and delivery, promoting information literacy, and reaching students in distance learning programs. In this four-hour class, which will be offered in two-hour increments for two successive days, students will explore a wide range of technology that will help put any information literacy program on the map.
