In this class you’ll learn the basic use of Audacity, a freely available open-source application used to create and edit digital audio. Through guided instruction and hands-on exercises, you will see how to create sound files, integrate and work with existing sound files, create multiple layers of overlapping and complimentary sound, and save a final production-quality project.

- Capturing audio through an attached microphone
- Saving a Project
- Importing sound files
- Understanding wave formats
