Lyrasis’ new Mass Digitization Collaborative offers members the opportunity to contribute materials to a regional mass digitization project. Lyrasis facilitates the process by selecting vendors and developing a collaborative collection development policy, guidelines, standards, and workflows. The Collaborative is funded by the Lyrasis membership and supported in part through a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. The full project was originally opened to all PALINET members in October 2008.
