Mark your calendars for August 18-19 to attend PLAN’s Digitization Conference 2016. A full day pre-conference entitled Digitization 101 will also be offered on August 17. The conference theme is Digitization: Preserving the Past for the Future.
Join us at Florida State University’s Panama City, Florida campus. If your library or organization is involved with digitization, or planning the digitization of historical records, photos, audios, or moving images, this conference will provide both basic and advanced learning opportunities. All types of libraries and historical organizations will benefit.
Who should attend: Staff from libraries of all types, plus staff from historical & cultural heritage organizations
Program: The conference will provide an introduction to digitization for those new to digitization and more in depth topics for those who want advanced level information about digitization. A full program and speaker list will be available soon. Early registration begins in March.
