Calibre is a free software application that allows users to manage e-book collections, as well as to create, edit and read e-books. It supports a variety of formats, and offers a lot of features to manage e-readers as well. During this two-part class, we will:
- Discuss the basics of e-books and various publishing formats
- Learn how to install and navigate Calibre’s features
- Show tips and tricks for getting the most out of Calibre
- Explore more advanced features of Calibre
Between classes, attendees will each be asked to put into practice techniques discussed in class. One-on-one assistance with the instructor will be provided during this time.
