Origami for Programming in a Library Setting (NEFLIN)

This creative workshop will introduce you to the methods of origami as well as providing the skills required for later self-driven explorations in origami.  We’ll also provide instruction and ideas for using origami in various programming applications, including:
  • How to create a program based on target audience age level and interest
  • How to create a story hour that uses origami to enhance and supplement the story
  • How to use origami exclusively to tell a story
  • How to use origami in active, passive and outreach program settings
