In the current environment of shrinking budgets, emerging and rapidly changing technologies, and ever-expanding needs, focusing on preserving a library’s resources has never been more crucial. Today’s preservation administrators are responsible for directing traditional preservation activities, while developing new programs for electronic collections and imaging projects. Well-planned management strategies are essential to balancing competing priorities, and to managing a preservation program that is efficient, cost effective, and integrated into the whole of library and archive operations. This class will be presented in three two hour sessions (March 21-23 9:00-11:00 am CT)
