Right Service at the Right Time (Hands on with Q & A)

Do you like being Right? Then you need to be a part of the Right Service at the Right Time!

The Right Service at the Right Time is an easy to use resource that connects people with e-gov and social services. And now, we are bringing the Right Service right to you! On January 18, we will be offering two workshops to get you on the right path. The morning workshop, 9:30-11:30, will cover what Right Service is, why it is important, how to participate, how to use it, free and inexpensive ways to promote it, and other great info. The afternoon workshop, 1:30-4, will be a hands on session, navigating the library and service provider consoles, creating user accounts, managing services and finding and entering resources. It is suggested that you attend both sessions, but if your schedule does not allow it, please attend whichever one you can.

If you are attending the afternoon session, please bring some resources (service provider information) with you to enter into the database – for example, information about your local Goodwill industries location, what services they offer, address, eligibility requirements, etc. Or just bring the urls for the services you refer customers to.

For more information, please view this “Behind the Scenes” video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJnEIYIdloI and check out Right Service at www.rightservicefl.org.

So please sign up Right now for these free workshops and learn how this free resource gets Right the heart of what your customers need.

The Right Service at the Right Time has been funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Florida Department of State, State Library and Archives of Florida.

These sessions are designed to stand independently so you may choose the ones you want. We hope you can join us for both. You as a member of SWFLN, have the option to register for both of the sessions or simply just attend one; but you MUST register individually for each session at our website below:
