Technology for Small Libraries or Libraries with Few Resources (Live Online)

This presentation is for libraries struggling to provide innovative web services with little resources for staff, software, or hardware. Learn how to take advantage of quick and free services that any library can add to its website with minimal time or expertise. If your library has no money for services, less staff time than you did last year, and you still want to have a substantial web presence, this is for you!

Presenter – Sarah Houghton-Jan is the Digital Futures Manager for the San José Public Library. In 2009, she was named Library Journal Mover & Shaker as a Trendspotter. She also worked as a consultant for the Infopeople Project and has been involved with a number of ALA groups over the years, including a three-year stint as a member of LITAs Top Technology Trends Committee. She speaks internationally at live and online events for libraries and other institutions. Sarah received her MLIS from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign.
