Florida State University Libraries and the Panhandle Library Access Network (PLAN) are hosting The Innovation Conference on the campus of FSU-Panama City, August 14-15, 2014.
If you are looking for ways to make your library more relevant, dynamic and creative, you’ll want to attend.
The 2012 Innovation Conference was a tremendous success and attendees encouraged conference organizers to expand on the “innovation” theme to develop a program that better prepares participants to create and implement innovation plans. With that in mind, the upcoming event will be part conference and part workshop. The workshop portion will be professionally facilitated by The Innovator’s DNA company.
Innovator’s DNA is a research-based strategy for creating and sustaining a culture of innovation within an organization or business. Clayton Christensen, Jeff Dyer and Hal Gregersen wrote the book The Innovator’s DNA. Their method identifies core competencies that are essential for establishing a framework where innovation can occur. From gathering information, having the breakthrough idea and finally to implementing the idea; the model works with products and services, with for-profit and non-profit organizations.
Come join us in beautiful Panama City Beach for two days of innovation!
