Transactional and Navigational Memory in the Workplace (Online)

Technology is playing a huge part in how organizational memory is changing and the requirements for our employees in memorization as a part of their work. The growth of “transactional memory”, information made available to help employees as they work and “navigational memory”, information available through refined search engines and techniques will continue to affect and determine what we need to memorize and what we need to find.

This 30-minute PCI webinar will examine how “organizational memory” is changing and what are we asking our employees to memorize as a part of their work.

Andrew has been developing and conducting training seminars for libraries and library organizations for more than ten years. He has presented Web-based, On-line, and Face-to-Face sessions on Management and Leadership, Customer Service and Communication Skills in the U.S. and numerous countries around the world. He is the founder of the PCI Webinars.
