Understanding the Psychology and Science of Humor (SEFLIN) (SWFLN)

The three-part “Using Humor to Reduce Stress and Improve Morale at Work” series gives you the tips, techniques and skills needed to defuse tense situations and keep your own personal cool when being confronted by the daily stress and grind of your work.

The ability to see the lighter side of any situation and brighten the mood of your people with humor is a skill that can be developed and is critical to workplace success.

This is the first of three 30-minute webinars in the “Using Humor to Reduce Stress and Improve Morale at Work” series.

What is humor? Why do we laugh? In this webinar, we will discuss how laughing can help us to reduces stress and we’ll examine the types of humor used in television, radio, story telling, music, movies, and at work to better understand why it can help or hurt our effectiveness with our people and in our organizations.

Tim has enjoyed a career as a television writer and producer, touring comedian, published author, award winning screenwriter, corporate trainer, keynote speaker, and is now working on a musical comedy cd due to be released in early November.
