Using RDA for Serials Cataloging (SEFLIN)

This two hour, live online class will provide an overview of the essentials of RDA (Resource Description and Access) as it applies to serials. This session will highlight the major differences in cataloging practice between AACR2 and RDA, and how this will impact the serials cataloging environment.

After this class, students will be able to:

  • Identify the differences between an RDA serial record and a current AACR2 serial record
  • Understand RDA instructions for serials
  • Catalog serials using RDA

Presented by: Jacquie Samples, Lyrasis
