If you’ve been working with people for more than a few days, there’s one thing you know for sure – there are no “one size fits all” answers when it comes to human beings, but understanding ourselves and others is a huge step in the right direction!
We’ll start this thought-provoking workshop with a look in the mirror – who is that looking back? Do you really know yourself? Then we’ll delve further into the mysteries of personalities to discover how others’ unique personalities contribute to nearly everything that happens in our workplace and how our own personalities affect how we interact with those around us.
The next topic on the agenda will be emotional intelligence. After all, knowledge does no good unless we know ourselves well enough to use it!
As we move through the day, we’ll proceed to the really fun stuff – dealing with change – yikes! How can we not only “deal with change,” but become champions of change so that our libraries live up to being organizations of excellence?
Don’t miss this opportunity to spend time reflecting on the human side of your workplace. You’ll come away refreshed and rejuvenated with valuable information that will help you perform your job more effectively. And that makes work more fun – for everyone!
